In Devon, we are currently seeing an increase in pre-school children with colds, chest infections and other respiratory diseases. At the same time, coronavirus cases in the county are also rising rapidly.
The message to parents/carers should be that if your child is unwell, please keep them at home and don’t send them to nursery or pre-school as they may make others ill. If a child is showing any of the main coronavirus symptoms:
a high temperature, a new, continuous cough, a loss or change of sense of smell/taste
